Privacy Policy

Ziggy is a private app for two partners to share one virtual pet. This policy explains what we collect, how it's used, and your choices. We keep it simple because we collect as little as possible.

What we collect

• A display name you enter.
• A relationship code used to connect you with your partner.
• Photos ("Instants"), captions, and messages you choose to send.
• Your shared pet's activity (feeding, playing, daily answers, etc.).

How we use it

• Solely to sync this content in real time between you and your connected partner.
• We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps or websites.

Where it's stored

Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Authentication). Access is restricted to the two partners in a relationship. Photos are sent as part of app functionality, and a new "Instant" replaces the previous one rather than building up a library.

Authentication

The app signs you in anonymously (no email or password) to keep your relationship's data private to you and your partner.

Deleting your data

You can permanently delete your shared data at any time inside the app: Settings → Delete My Data. This removes your relationship's pet, photos, messages, and activity from our servers.

Children

Ziggy is intended for users aged 13 and older.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and post the revised version on this page.
